And relax

Spent a good while lying in the gardens today waiting for napoleon to finish work. The afternoon turned out to be super warm, despite the rubbish start to the day, so I soaked up as much sun as I could. There's something quite nice about lying in the gardens and every so often hearing the clickity-clack of the train as it goes invisibly by.

I also spent a good while browsing through Waterstone's sewing books. I'm hunting for one with good crafty ideas, as I may end up having more time on my hands in the next few weeks that I think! I'm considering the purchase of said book as a treat for being laid off (I know, I'm a wild and crazy gal!).

We finished the day with another yummy meal at First Coast to celebrate napoleon's mum's birthday.
