Above the rest ...

I wish it was tomorrow already and we'd know if, no that! there's reason to celebrate. Positive thinking!

We went for a walk after dinner. Last summer we did that every evening, and on saturday we power-walked a mile or 5 around the lake. This year we are somehow struggling to get out the door! My long hours at work lately have something to do with it, but I think it's mostly that we've forgotten how good it feels to be outside and active. That, and I'm lazy :)

There were no deer at the field, and the Beloved wanted to run into it and make a trail. I told him he couldn't as it's not our field.

I do love this lonely flower. I bet it's full of dreams about reaching for the sun.
Or maybe I'm projecting :)
