sun, ice cream and the local villiage fete

Today was the local 'villiage' ( its not really a villiage but it's like one ) party. It was just up the road from us and their was promise of the air ambulance touching down nearby for everyone to see so as we had nothing else on i decided to take Harvey to have a look and we walked up their. What a complete waste of time, it was the biggest load of pants i have ever seen. Their was about 3 stalls, ice cream van, burger van, the local motorbike club and a centre ring with the army cadets singing and dancing to YMCA.... i mean, it was soooo bad it was embarrasing ! Whoever organised it seriously needs to have a word with themselves. So we had an ice cream and went home. The air ambulance didnt turn up. Oh well !!
