VERY IMPORTANT ITEM.

In early for night shift. Out we go, first call, before 18:00, (official start time), False alarm at the local Hospital, Monash Medical, one of Melbourne's major hospitals. Second call, power lines down "arcing and sparking" is the saying of the communications centre. Every one else seems to be on the radio as well, radio traffic so bad we can't give our "word back", eventually after about two hours head back to the station, we have bought the ingredients to make our own pizza's. Mmmm!! we manage to cook and eat before our next call.
Some days or nights we can be at fires or incidents for hours at a time, this is when we have our mobile canteen attend, with tea, coffee, cuppa soups and the Butternut snap biscuit.
It took me a long time to get to it. That's tonight's blip. The "butternut snap".
