After some years the lounge was ready for a facelift. Once we stripped the wallpaper and chucked out the carpet and fireplace and a ton of old pine furniture we realised the change was long overdue.

Just had a new hole-in-the-wall gas fire fitted; painted three walls; papered one wall. Ordered the carpet today. Furniture on order. Only waiting to decide on cupboards and shelves.

Then we can get in there and enjoy it. Oh, and might go mad and buy a new TV.
