My Daddy is so funny.

Sitting here tonight with a much needed bacardi and coke and a headache. Jack and Erin were good most of today but for some reason had no volume control and were just so loud all the time. We popped to have coffee and cake with a friend Zara today for her birthday. We all sang her happy birthday (it's Jacks favourite song and he sings it all the time) and then Jack showed her his new cute trick. I've told him that when he meets a lady he says "can I have your hand" and then he kisses it. Very sweet and it earnt him another bit of Zaras cake!
Popped to the beach to throw stones in the sea for a bit after that and then home to ride their bikes. Indoors most of the afternoon and I was struggling to keep them awake after 4pm. The bikes tire them out but as they have a 6.30pm bedtime there is no way they could have a nap. They were starting to get cranky and then daddy came home and they were so excited and the silliness began again. I can't remember what made Erin laugh this much at Daddy but it must have been hilarious.

Erins potty training update: couldn't believe that I forgot to update yesterday and it was her best day yet. She finally did a number 2 on the toilet and just like the wees once she did it once she got it. She did it again today and had no accidents at all. Hopefully it will continue cos it is so much nicer with them both using the toilet and 2 nappies in 24 hours is a lot cheaper than the 12 or so I was having to use.
