Straws are my friends!

Had a rather traumatic day today. After around a week of having toothache I thought it was about time that I phoned the dentist to get it sorted. I managed to get an appointment for lunchtime.

So I get in the dentist chair and explain what the problem is, he taps about my teeth a bit until I make a kind of ouch noise when he hits the one that's bothering me. I then go for a quick x-ray and get told that the only thing he can do is take the tooth out!!

Now, I'm already not a big fan of the dentist but to be told this I kind of went into shock...in a bit of a daze, I got all "numbed" up and the dentist set to work on pulling that tooth out. Eventually it came out, I was given painkillers and antibiotics and off I went. Well not in the car 2 seconds and I was in tears - yes, I'm a 27 year old that's terrified of the dentist!!

So tonight's blip is of my packet of straws...something I have been very grateful of this afternoon to save me from dribbling my juice down my chin! Hope I feel better tomorrow.
