Ranta-alpi - Garden Loosestrife

This is one of the most showy wild flowers in southern Finland. In Helsinki it is starting to bloom now, the first blossoms have just opened. It has a funny-looking sister plant with flowers like furry yellow balls, but it is not so common. And not so pretty! This Lysimachia vulgaris also has at least two different sister plants that grow in the gardens in Finland and one of them (tarha.alpi) looks a lot like this one.
