The last time ...

... I'll be here in my capacity as a school governor. I had my last meeting here today and after 7 years as a governor I think I've done my bit for the community.

I've enjoyed all my time on the governing body, but as my life is changing radically it felt like the right time to hang up my proximity card and say 'thank you' to the Infant School where I have been made to feel a real and valued part of the community.

But now it's onwards and upwards as my life moves on to a new chapter.

The second half of the year may start with much upheaval, but keep reading and I'm sure that in a few months my life will have changed irrevocably. For the better.
