El Born In Barcelona
Once again a hot day at 31 degrees. We took our daily walk from our hotel to the city, which is four miles. Yes you can get a metro every three minutes, but with such a lovely beachfront to walk along it's a shame not to.
In the afternoon we wandered around a few of the Barrio's Pobleno and Barcelonetta taking in the local hospitality and ended up exploring El Born, during the day. Again we came across some streets that we hadn't benn along before with mysterious shuttered doors that no doubt come alive as eateries and shops in the evening
Some tapas and a couple of adult beverages later, it was time to hit the shops and...we did.
One tip: if you are paying by credit card, always ask to pay in Euros rather than Pounds as the exchange rate is much better!
