Hooray for light!

Walked out this morning and found that a thin layer of cloud had helpfully positioned itself over the sun, diffusing it very nicely. This is the sort of tone and colour you can get under such conditions when you shoot flowers! I think it's noticeable anyway.

The Ubuntu fun continues. Getting it to emulate Windows satisfactorily (so I can use Photoshop CS3!) has so far been a massive fail. I continue to endure! In the meantime, it's GIMP for editing...
