Inverie Ahoy
Well, it didn't take long for our plans to come unstuck. Lawrie's Dad took a turn for the worse, and the forecast for Wednesday showed the weather worsening. As we didn't want to get stuck anywhere out the way, we decided on a wee trip to Inverie and the Forge and then it would be a short move on to Mallaig to drop Lawrie off (more of which later).
What a great sail and what a great place. A few yachties to mingle with and some local bammers and a sea horribly full of jellyfish. And this was the first outing for the boat's dinghy - the ouzelet as I've termed it. Took some moody photos as the sun went down, but feck it, here's the wee boat on a broad reach down Loch Nevis with the whitewashed cottages of Inverie just visible to the left of the shrouds (those wire things).
