Harrier Hawk eating Brooklands Lagoon

This harrier was eating a dead cow floating in Brooklands Lagoon near Spencer Park Christchurch New Zealand. Fighting off all comers it was determined to continue its meal as other harriers flew in and tried to dislodge it. Very difficult birds to get close to as they have amazing eyesight and are very wary!
