A Nut By Any Other Name

A hazelnut or a filbert? It all depends on where you live. In Oregon we called them filberts. Everywhere else they are known as hazelnuts. I grew up in Oregon and in our backyard we had two filbert trees. My sisters and I got to pick them up by the bucketful. Not one our most favorite chores. But a strong shared memory.
