Cardrona

Lots of organisation today, the first day skiing. There was discussion as to whether we should gave a day off to organise, but it was too fine, so we had to go! Down to the ski shop first and gear for some of the family, then up the ski area by ... 12 noon!

Tickets, lunch, then on the slopes by a slightly tardy 1.30ish! Lovely day, good snow, and most of the kids did really well. Hannah has a new outfit, I'll blip it soon for sure!

(Nephew) Spencer however, had a good but less than perfect day. It culminated in me taking him up the chairlift, he started well, but then things turned pear-shaped, and major meltdown began. Too tired, too late in the day ... off to ski lessons tomorrow. He's a challenging little man ...

Back to the house, wine, dinner, then bed. Fabulous.
