"... and then..."

This last few saturdays have been eventful and this one was no exception, with two big social meetings.

The first was the 50th marriage anniversary of the parents of the husband of a cousin. They're not "direct" family, but they're a very nice couple that deserved the celebration, a quiet, family affair.

The second event was different, the home inauguration plus anniversary of a friend. The party started around 6 pm and lasted well into the night (and next day). Lots of cooking and drinking, eating and drinking, talking and drinking and just plain drinking.

As usual, The Wife had more sense and less drinks than me. She was left with the task of driving us back home and dragging me to bed.
