Peruvian Lilies

Spent some time at my 85 year old mother-in-law's house today. She's was in good form, feeling well, and in good spirits. Her brother in Italy is 80 in 10 days, and as I had my camera with me, I took some shots of her in her garden to send to him with his card.

She was delighted, and made a very enthusiastic and appreciative model. She loved this shot of her Peruvian Lilies, so it's my blip for today.

Her lovely garden, all planters and raised beds, is tended with loving care. My brother-in-law has offered to give me some of these lilies for my own garden - he says they don't need any attention. I hope that's true!
