USA 1981

A few weeks ago I discovered old photographs of mine from the late 70s and early 80s that I thought I had lost but were in fact sitting in my aunt's garage.

I have spent the last few days sorting through hundreds of pictures, transporting myself back to a time of innocence, angst, fun, madness and the colour brown.

The photos are in pretty good condition, but they smell musty and the albums they were in have had to be chucked out, but the albums probably saved the photos from disintegrating.

This montage is from a 3 month camping trip around the USA in 1981. The girl in the second row with the mop of brown hair is me chomping on a slice of water melon.
