Sullen teenager

Nipped out early to try and get a blip walk in before the rain, but made the mistake of having a cuppa and something to eat first, so it was just starting to drizzle as I left. Managed to get the heron again but nothing particularly interesting. On the way home through the heavier-than-drizzle, I caught sight of this gull being sullen in its changing feathers. Not sure what sort it is - thought pink legs might mean a herring gull, but the beak doesn't look right. The crows were busy pulling the rubbish out of the waste bins, but I didn't manage to catch a blip of that.
