Songbirds

We enjoyed a wonderful Fourth of July barbecue with some American friends who live near Mons. North Carolina-style barbecue, coleslaw, cornbread, rootbeer, iced tea, ice cream, tarte au sucre, the works!

After a very long outdoor lunch, our friend Britta, who has a fabulous singing voice treated us to some jazz standards. Her husband Gene accompanied her with some cool moves of his own. They are two of our favourite people in the world.

Beautiful weather, great food and a good deal of laughter shared with some very special people have made today memorable.


I've backblipped yesterday too.
