Lost?

Went to mum and dad as it was their wedding anniversary but theyre off on holiday. We took a back road there and turned the corner to find these two herons on the road. This was taken through the windscreen. As we moved closer they moved off but only a little. This is at the top of a hill and there is no river ot body of water nearby. Im really glad I always have the camera to hand.
