Female Waiting Area

Yesterday I handed in my liquor permit, and claimed back the 180-odd (when converted to GBP) deposit.

Today I went to the department of immigration to cancel my residence permit. I was shooed away from where I was, and shepherded by a grumpy policeman to this female waiting area (the men in the picture are sitting beyond it, in the main area). It was a little area, near the back of a big room, so I had to walk fast when my number came up! Eventually I got there, and handed in my ID card. I feel sad to be leaving Qatar.
