I can see clearly now...
Went into town with the man today - he went off to be a Sunday rock god again and I began to get ready to go out and take some photos. Didn't think about it for too long though. The clouds that were gathering yesterday p'd down on Dundee from a great height. Within minutes, and apparently coincident with the first black metal chord being struck, the skies turned from bright blue to a very ominous grey colour. I stayed in the car. As you can see from the pictures of the deluge that followed, others were not so fortunate.
Was all over by the time he came out of the rehearsal studios and the skies were blue again.
On the way home we picked up food and a bag of cashew nuts. Apparently, the health warning declares, the packet may contain traces of nuts... I should bl***y well hope so!
You do have to wonder who that gem of information was aimed at though. After all the packet clearly stated what the contents were on the front - and just in case you were in any doubt, it was transparent too.
I suppose there may be someone out there who hasn't had a cashew - they may not even have come across the word NUT... after all, english isn't the only language on the planet... but, and you really do have to ask yourself this one... if someone doesn't know that a cashew is a nut, and if they don't do the word "nuts" in english... just how, exactly, are they meant to read said health warning...
It's as clear as mud ... or a rainy day in Dundee!
