Prarie thisle seed head

It was horribly hot here today but me and hubby took a mid morning walk in Cuba Marsh which has beautiful restored praries and woodlands. It was way too hot to enjoy the walk but I did manage to shot this thisle seed head.
Good day too see a movie. later we went to see the Last Airbender, which got bad reviews, but I thought it was a fantastic flick. Good involved story.
