I'm going to get you...

Had a day with Aunty Gill today before she heads back to Scotland for work this week. Ended up spending a few more hours with her than was originally scheduled!

Spent the morning and early afternoon on Newcastle prom...there is a super park there that the kids love. After or picnic lunch we had a walk along the prom and then we had to get Aunty Gill up to Larne for her sailing. Made good time for her and when she arrived she checked that her boat was still sailing. It was a really blustery day so quite often the Troon crossing is cancelled in these circumstances...it was so we said our good byes and headed back down to Dundrum.

Thirty minutes later we were headed back to Larne to pick Aunty Gill back up again...her boat wasn't going at the scheduled time, they hoped it would sail later but it wasn't guaranteed, she had transferred onto the ferry that was leaving imminently, however, after she and I did a quick surf on the internet we discovered that she was going to be stranded at Cairnryan on a Sunday evening once she docked...not a good idea...so we turned the car arounded and headed back for her.

So after a bit more driving than we expected today, we headed for Murlough this evening for a run around.

Fish & chips for dinner from the Bayside Catch...mmmm.

Aunty Gill is going to head off tomorrow morning now...flying not sailing.
