Standing Top the Bright Lit City
Backblip here!
Today I went to a hot spring in the morning with my family. I couldn't even make it all the way into the medium temperature bath because it was so hot! Kudos to those who can stay the entire fifteen minutes in the hottest bath there is.
In the afternoon I went to Yang Ming Shan National Park where my mom's cousin happens to work. It's the highest peak in Taipei with an altitude of 1,120 meters. She and her husband operate the peak of the mountain so that's where we were. While my mom caught up with her, I explored the park and walked through paths to the tops of mountains. The view was just glorious. There were sulphur springs coming out of the mountain too which left a rather unpleasant smell. However, the beauty of it made us completely disregard the rotten eggs haha. I stayed and watched the sun set behind the mountain and it was a lovely sight.
After dinner on the way back home, we stopped by an area where people can stop and take a look. This blip is the view of Taipei from the mountain where I'm currently staying.
