Ajaccio

Holiday snap time ;-) This is a shot of Ajaccio harbour in Corsica taken early in the morning from the 11th deck of the Adventure of the Seas. We took a road train trip round the old town to get off the ship for a while. As it is the birthplace of Napoléon Bonaparte there are a lot of reminders of the Emperor including the house of his birth turned into a national museum. I learned so much about him on this short tour, but amizingly the one thing that wasn't mentioned at all was Waterloo.
