Old Knik River Bridge
So, I have just not been able to keep up. With recent travel, return to work, meetings, and holiday lag, I am just behind in posting, commenting and blipping in general.
I posted a couple of back-blips today and am at least caught up with that. Now I need to go see what is happening in the rest of the bliposhpere.
The old Knik River Bridge was the first to cross the east end of the river, connecting the Eklutna and Anchorage side of the river and inlet with the Matanuska side. The original bridge may have been for rail traffic, it is pretty narrow. Now the bridge is completely closed to vehicle traffic but still stands and is an interesting walking bridge to see the view of the nearby mountains and Knik River.
It is still Fall, or course, the rain is just not letting up.
