Magna

Magna is an old steelworks near Rotherham that's been converted into a Science Adventure Park - and it's where we went today.

It was Neil's second day out with me and the kids, and I think we all enjoyed it immensely. I know James was a little scared of the pyrotechnics - I was a little scared of the zip-wire in the playground - Neil was a little scared of the kids (not really - at least I hope not!) and Sophie was just a whirlwind.

The photo shows an interactive element in the 'Fire' section - a flame tornado - and thankfully the only interactive part was pushing a button to start the process.

Here's to many more days out - and a future full of fun!
