Ol' MacDonald's

Left for Ol' MacDonald's Resort after work Wednesday. 5 1/2 hours to get there when it should have taken 3 1/2. Too many stops! Setup, then right to sleep.

Thursday was a beautiful day.

Started by visiting the animals at the petting zoo. Fed horses, a calf, and goats. The pigs were too lazy to get up. The donkey smelled terrible!

Then it was off to the beach. Helped the kids build a wonderful sandcastle that took first place. Prizes were minigolf and ice cream. I let the kids keep the prizes.

After a dinner of BBQ'd back ribs, it was back to the beach to watch the Canada Day fireworks.

Stayed up till 3:30 playing 'Name that tune' around the camp fire.
