Wily fox devours... birdseed

Foxes have had a terrible press here in the past few weeks. This one wouldn't have said boo to a goose.

I spotted it just as I was about to commence the washing-up. It was pottering around quite happily underneath our birdfeeders. It was so engrossed in its dinner that it didn't notice us staring at it. I made a squeaky rabbit noise to get its attention and it looked up, but didn't seem bothered at all.

I don't often get close views of foxes, but this one seemed very little - not a lot bigger than a cat.
