Even though I still don't have a macro lens, I think this dragonfly shot turned out great. I compensated for my lens (my vintage Pen 40/1.4) by getting close! I sat waste deep in the water about 2 feet away from this dragonfly's perch to get a good shot of him. I had to stalk him for a while before he relaxed and came back...
