Feeding the ducks

It doesn't happen too often that we are ready early for the school run, but today the 6 o'clock rise meant that we had time in hand to stop off and feed the ducks on the way to nursery.

Armed with a slice each the boys beckoned the ducks over with all their usual enthusiasm. Matters seemed to be getting out of hand when a couple of over-zealous geese decided to join the feeding frenzy. Thankfully after a bit of hissing they backed away and gave us the opportunity to check out the ducklings before heading off.
