My sister gave my a fridge magnet picture frame with these words and a picture of the 2 of us, taken on her 21st birthday. That was 10 years ago. I've moved house, city, province and even countries roughly 10 times since then, but have never failed to have that magnet on my fridges!

Elane has been living in Australia for about 5 years now and I miss her terribly. She's only a year younger than me and has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. She's been visitng for the last few weeks and is going back again on Saturday:( We'll probably only see her again in a year's time.

We took a nice family portrait of the two of us with my folks this afternoon, but this picture of her and Paddington captured her wicked sense of humour perfectly:) I miss her already...
