They're Taking over!!

When I was very young [the year before last] we occasionally went to the local grocer in the village,ours was Mr Couzins and he sold everything including fresh baked bread !! Lovely.
Mother would sometimes shout to me'BRYAN GET UP TO MR COUZINS AND GET A LYONS INDIVIDUAL FRUIT PIE FOR YOUR FATHERS PUDDING.and before I got home I'd sucked all the filling from the pie through the little hole in the centre of the pie ...........then get a clip aside the lug.
I cannot beleive the speed that this shop has been built,I walked past at lunchtime to get a roll for my lunch and at 5.30 the shop fittings were being installed and all lights were on,so within a couple of days it will be up and running.!!
Is it just me,or am I getting to be a grumpy old man,!!! but you see, I miss Mr Couzins,and Doodneys,and Riddles, all little shops in little villages,there were no sell by dates or 'best before' or 'display until' ..........Oh silly old me its called Progress !! xxb
