Tower Bridge

This picture was taken at 2115 at night just as the sun was setting. I was waiting to go into the Tower of London to witness the Ceremony of the Keys. This is a tradition dating back over 700 years when the Yeoman Warder would lock the Tower Gates and secure the building for the evening. So precise is the ceremony that it finishes with the first notes of The Last Post being played by the buglar as the clock strikes ten pm. A wonderful ceremony to experience and to see inside the Tower grounds after it had been closed to the public for the evening was quite special.
