Africa

Well today was a blast from the past, i was in school all day today. however not quite as normal. i came in for ,my piano and flute lessons and then got asked to help with the music and eucharistic ministery in a special year 9 mass happening that day

basically it was a themed mass on africa which was interesting, it managed to pull together too and worked quite well and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. we brought in christian too, who is a local man who came over from africa and runs lots of workshops with drumming and stuff and is a bit of a character, he's really friendly and talented and still holds the tradditions of his culture whilst merging with our own. at lunchtime he was rocking out on an electric guitar keeping all the year 9's entranced at how this strange african person could be so outstanding at something so western

but i quite enjoyed it, and i will be back in school again tomorow and the day after, oh joy HAHA

this is just a quick shot i snapped on the way home from school, i quite liked the brightness and the way the colours fade into each other
