Petersville Gold District

The Petersville Gold Mining District in South Central Alaska is accessible only by 4 wheel drive vehicle and motorcycle.

In early summer, several muddy patches remain on the roads and going is slow and sloppy at times.

We are told that the area you see has good moose hunting.
