Cairo experiment

I wandered onto the roof at work today but I couldn't stay up there too long cause it was just so incredibly bright. The view from up there is an odd combination of buildings, old and new, roofs littered with satellite dishes, Egyptian flags and randomly painted balconies.

I decided to play around with the photo today, in an experiment of sorts. The original photo can be seen here.

I wonder if the concept comes through with me having to spell it out...
