Dilly Dali-ing

A few years ago I had the good fortune to visit the Salvador Dali Theatre-Museum in Figueres in Catalunya (and Catalunya is not Spain, as the Catalans will tell you). The museum's claim that it is the world's largest surrealist object is not made lightly. Rather than stepping into a museum, it was like stepping into one of Dali's dreams. The Rainy Cadillac in the centre courtyard is one of the first exhibits you see. Unfortunately, I'm not in Figueres today - just playing around with a new camera and a 3D souvenir from the museum. It's merely a cardboard viewfinder with plastic lenses and two pictures of the Rainy Cadillac - echoing the many 3D "stereoscopy" works in the Dali Theatre-Museum.
