Hook & Pulley

To begin with, I have to explain that the subjects of this blip are neither the spider in the top left nor the dust that shows on upward facing surfaces!

The subjects are the hook and the pulley. Our property previously belonged to a butcher. The pulley was his. He used to lift animal carcasses with it in his shop cum workroom which was in an outhouse. I have put rope in it just for this blip to better show it off.

The hook on which the pulley hangs was used for suspending hams in the larder, there was one in each corner.

I did not have a blip for today until standing at the front door with a visitor I noticed these featues and remembered their stories.
