Wish I was there

One weekend in September 1999, various otherwise "closed" buildings were opened to the public. I think such Open House weekend have continued happening until fairly recently.

We decided to take the boys to the Foreign Office. It has, as you can see, an amazing interior. But our boys weren't fussed about that. They were much more interested in running around, as you would if you were aged 6, 4 and 14 months.

The baby was an early walker, on his feet and toddling since he was 8 months old. So we just let them enjoy themselves in what to them must have been wide open spaces.

This photo was taken when they were having a rest. I adore it. The shoes, the easy sitting, the colours, the brotherly love.

The camera was an Olympus 1.3mp, bought in Japan as a present for me from @thebiggj.
