The Pumping Station

The pumping station has always stood there as long as I can remember. It had a big glass window and two massive pump casings. You could peer through as a child into what looked like a set from Dr.Who.

A few years back Scottish Water upgraded the facility and turned it into a cross between an Israeli checkpoint and a Glasgow off licence. The place is surrounded by a playpark, houses and a school.
