Tuti-Tata
Iranians call them Shahtoots (which means king's mulberry).
Indians call them Tuti, (hence the word tutti-frutti).
I call them my "blackberries".
Woke up really late this morning and my dad gave me a small banana-leaf package, complete with a vine-bow. Voila! My blackberries! ******heaven*****
And from heaven, I am sending you all in blipland blackberries. Not the phone though hehehe.
ECSTATIC. That's what I am today to receive such a gift. Living in sunny Philippines, we don't have much berries or grapes. We do have some wonderful fruits like papaya, watermelon, mangoes, bananas and gazillions more! Just a little factoid, the black mulberry's fruits are generally considered to be the tastiest of the 3 kinds (others: white mulberry which originally from China are cultivated for their leaves eaten by silkworms, and the red mulberry a native of North America).
They sure are! The tangy sweetness just explodes in your mouth. Like splashing it with all kinds of candy. Now I know why the birds are happily fidgeting and chirping around our gardens every single day! While I'm writing this blip, I'm munching some of them tutis too. Lookieee!!! My fingers and lips are all REDDDD!!!
