Fairytale

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good shot, what it doesn't do is really portray the beauty and majesty of this place; Chateaux de La Roche-Courbon.

It is utterly, utterly, utterly gorgeous. No wonder so many local people go there to get their wedding photos taken. The whole place has a remarkable story and could have so easily have been lost to us had it not been for the French author Pierre Loti. More info on the place here.

Oh and there are caves where wee boys can charge about fighting dinosaurs if you don't have a daughter with a sleeping beauty costume.
