I first photographed this lion the previous day but he came second in my choice of Blip for that day.

I now regret that decision. I've checked that previous image and he was then unsullied.

In the intervening period, of less than 24 hours, one of Bath's infamous inland seagulls has made his own signature critique of the Pride in our City initiative. The eagle-eyed will detect his acid addition to the once pristine façade of 'Lion d'art'.
