Muted duck

This is Pop's back blipped through the bedroom window when he came for breakfast. It's a little cloudy because of all the salt spray on the window after the big winds we have had in the last few days. I like the picture because it shows how his plumage is going all muted now that the mating season is over.

Spent a happy hour late afternoon weeding and blipping a friend's allotment whilst she's away. Became mesmerised by the abundance of everything and thrilled by the rising blustery wind and scudding clouds. Ridiculous trying to shoot a single lilac blossom waving every which way. Ridiculous and strangely enthralling. Cycled home in the rain. Warm rain. Getting some sort of mojo back - or is that Cheryl Cole? Happy, anyway.
