Forget-me-not

The children all seem a bit wild lately- I think its end of term hi jinx letting them get carried away. Dinner consumed, a countryside walk seemed the thing to do.

I wanted something dazzling and dashing for my blip today, that was until I spotted the understated forget-me-not nestled amongst the green foliage. Conjouring up thoughts of carefree times gone by when I was a child and learning all about the nature around me from my mum, as she had from her father before that.

Not the showiest of wild flowers but to me just as special. I shant forget you forget-me-not.
