Look away, vegetarians! For me, it doesn't get more Fourth of July than big old steaks on the grill. I haven't had a steak in such a long time but I got a craving for one that had to be satisfied. We had a low key Fourth. We hung out with friends for a while but then came home early to watch the fireworks from our house. Our new place has a fairly-decent-at-least-I-didn't-have-to-leave-the-living-room view of them over some rooftops and sort of behind a tree. I fou out that Mr. Apple didn't grow up singing any of the patriotic songs that I did so he only knows the words to The Star Spangled Banner.
