The gite we had was close to an amazing surfing beach on the north west coast of Brittany. After the girls were in bed i'd pop out and watch the surfers.
It seemed quite serious surf to my, un-experienced eye. The surfers picked the waves up close to a submerged rock and and had to get off the wave before it smashed them onto the rocks on the beach!
